Your letters, with room to vary.

Start by drawing your alphabet and the numbers or symbols your text needs. Handform captures the outlines of those strokes. Save several versions of a letter and the composer can choose among your real forms while varying line starts, spacing and baselines within the available area.

The handwriting lab on the homepage saves your samples to your real local bank. You can try a few letters before opening a document.

Use text you already have.

Open Studio’s Tools and choose Type studio. Enter your own text, choose your ink, adjust writing size and variation, and check the preview. Capture any missing symbols before exporting. Manual text composition does not need an AI generation.

For an existing worksheet, import the PDF or photo to place writing on its original pages. Review and edit generated text, or add your own notes with the annotation tools.

PDF or an installable font?

A handwritten PDF preserves the exact page layout and letter variants you see in Handform. Studio Plus also exports an OpenType font made from your captured letters. Support for alternate letterforms varies between apps, so a font may look different from the PDF.

Use your handwriting for personal notes, repetitive transcription and documents where handwritten output is appropriate. Follow the rules of your class or workplace when using AI-generated material.

Try it on a real page.

Three free AI pages include completed PDF downloads, without a card. Compare Student and Studio Plus when you need more pages. Handform works in a browser on a phone, tablet or computer; the help page covers imports and downloads.
